In-office video visits are available at 209 Urgent Care when clinically appropriate and when an on-site provider is not immediately available. Patients must come to the clinic, check in, and complete the video visit from a private clinic room. We do not offer these visits from home or another outside location.

In-Office Video Care at 209 Urgent Care

If the on-site provider is responding to an emergency, assisting another patient, or unavailable for another reason, clinic staff may offer an in-office video visit with an available medical provider. This option helps patients receive an evaluation while remaining at the clinic, with on-site staff available to assist.

What Can Be Evaluated by In-Office Video?

  • Selected cold, cough, allergy, sinus, or sore-throat symptoms
  • Minor rashes or skin concerns that can be seen clearly on camera
  • Medication or treatment follow-up when appropriate
  • Review of available results
  • Other non-emergency concerns selected by the provider

The video provider determines whether the visit can be completed safely by video or whether an in-person examination, procedure, imaging, or higher level of care is needed.

What to Expect

  1. Come to 209 Urgent Care and check in with clinic staff.
  2. Complete registration, consent, and identity verification.
  3. Clinic staff will bring you to a private clinic room and connect you with an available medical provider by secure video.
  4. On-site staff may obtain vital signs, basic measurements, or specimens when ordered and available.
  5. The video provider will explain the care plan and whether additional in-person care is needed.

If Testing Is Needed

Testing cannot be performed through the video connection itself. Because the patient is already at 209 Urgent Care, on-site staff may collect specimens for flu, COVID-19, strep, urine, pregnancy, glucose, or other medically appropriate testing when ordered and available.

If the required test, imaging, procedure, or examination is not available at the clinic, the provider and clinic staff will explain the appropriate next step. A video visit does not guarantee a prescription, test, work note, or specific treatment.

Availability and Clinical Limits

In-office video visits are offered only when clinically appropriate and when a video provider and supporting clinic staff are available. They are not guaranteed for every condition or at every time. Patients cannot join these visits from home, work, a vehicle, or another outside location.

When You Need In-Person or Emergency Care

The video provider may direct you to an in-person clinician or another facility when a hands-on physical examination, wound care, imaging, laboratory testing, or a procedure is needed. For chest pain, severe trouble breathing, signs of stroke, uncontrolled bleeding, major trauma, severe allergic reaction, or another life-threatening emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.
