These terms apply to administrative text messages sent by 209 Urgent Care, operated by Stanislaus Health and Wellness Inc.

Program Description

With your consent, 209 Urgent Care may send customer-care text messages concerning appointment or arrival-time coordination, office hours, directions, preparation instructions, secure form links, and responses to administrative questions. This program is not used to provide a diagnosis, treatment advice, emergency services, or detailed medical information.

Consent

Consent may be provided verbally to clinic staff by telephone or in person, through an approved form, by initiating a text conversation with the clinic, or by texting START when instructed. Staff may record the date and method of consent. Consent to receive text messages is optional and is not a condition of purchasing services or receiving medical care. If the patient is a minor, consent must be provided by a parent or legal guardian.

Message Frequency and Charges

Message frequency varies depending on your interaction with the clinic. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier and plan. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Opt Out

Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving SMS messages. You may receive one final message confirming the opt-out. To opt back in, reply START or provide consent again through clinic staff.

Privacy and Medical Information

Review our Privacy Policy. SMS consent and mobile telephone information are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Ordinary SMS is not intended for diagnoses, detailed symptoms, photographs, insurance information, or other sensitive medical information. Please use the secure method provided by the clinic or call us when medical information must be discussed.

Emergencies

Text messages are not monitored continuously. Do not use SMS for urgent or emergency medical needs. Call 911 for a life-threatening emergency.
