209 Urgent Care is operated by Stanislaus Health and Wellness Inc. This policy explains how information is collected, used, and shared through our website and administrative text-messaging services. It is not a substitute for our Notice of Privacy Practices, which governs protected health information handled in connection with medical care.

Text Messaging and Medical Information

Ordinary SMS is intended for administrative communications only. Please do not send diagnoses, detailed symptoms, photographs, insurance information, or other sensitive medical information by ordinary text message. Use the secure method provided by the clinic or call us when medical information must be discussed. Text messages are not monitored continuously and must not be used for emergencies. Call 911 for a life-threatening emergency.

Consent and Choices

Text messaging is optional and is not a condition of receiving care. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for assistance. Opting out of texts does not prevent you from contacting the clinic by telephone.

Security and Retention

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. No internet or text-messaging system can be guaranteed completely secure. We retain information as reasonably necessary for operations, legal obligations, dispute resolution, and security.

Your Privacy Choices
